What is wrong with this world??

This woman belongs to my Sorority chapter from South Carolina and is currently in the hospital following a surprising attack by her husband.

http://www.erinprince.com

One of our alum was kind enough to start a website in her name and set it up to accept donations to help her family with travel and medical expenses for Erin. On this page you can also find more information about Erin and the story. I know it is the holidays, but if you can, please donate to help Erin and her family get throught this very tragic situation.

More information:

Erin Prince-Gould is known by her friends and family as a bright and cheerful person. Fun to be around and easy to talk to, Erin can lighten a mood with her witty sense of humor. In 2005, she became President of Sigma Sigma Sigma, of Coastal Carolina University, a role in which she shined as a mentor and leader. No one has a spirit quite like Erin's - it's a blend of joy, kindness, quiet confidence, dependability, and a yoda-like intelligence.

On December 20th, 2008 Erin Prince-Gould was sleeping in her home in Jacksonville, NC. The events that took place in those early hours of the morning, are still difficult to grasp. Jon Gould, Erin's husband, struck her in the head with a hammer multiple times, before staging a break-in for the police. Erin was airlifted in critical condition to New Hanover Regional Medical Center where she still continues to fight for her life and the life of her unborn child.. She is currently in critical but stable condition but has not been responsive. The full story can be viewed by clicking on one of the links below.

You can help by giving a Donation to the Prince family. A fund has been established to assist the medical bills, travel expenses, and future financial hardships the family has this holiday season and beyond. All donations will be given directly to the Prince Family.

Erin's family currently resides in Whitehouse, OH and are continuing to stay by her side in New Hanover, NC.

We had a wonderful visit from the PA Goldmans from December 5th - 13th! The time went fast, but we really enjoyed our time together with Eric, Julie, Jack, and Sydney.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! :)

As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly...

Enjoy! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!!

A THANKSGIVING POEM FOR YOU

'Twas the night of Thanksgiving, But I just couldn't sleep
I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep.

The leftovers beckoned - The dark meat and white
But I fought the temptation With all of my might.

Tossing and turning With anticipation
The thought of a snack Became infatuation.

So, I raced to the kitchen, Flung open the door
And gazed at the fridge, Full of goodies galore.

I gobbled up turkey And buttered potatoes,
Pickles and carrots, Beans and tomatoes.

I felt myself swelling So plump and so round,
'Til all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.

I crashed through the ceiling, Floating into the sky
With a mouthful of pudding And a handful of pie.

But, I managed to yell As I soared past the trees....
Happy eating to all - Pass the cranberries, please.

May your stuffing be tasty, May your turkey be plump.
May your potatoes 'n gravy Have nary a lump.

May your yams be delicious May your pies take the prize,
May your Thanksgiving dinner Stay off of your thighs.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL.
